Our Mission and Vision
Welcome! We appreciate you taking the time to learn more about the Fix’Em Clinic, a program of Charleston Regional Spay Neuter Center, Inc. We are an ASPCA-affiliated 501(c)3 non-profit veterinary clinic located in Charleston, West Virginia. We are not income-based nor have geographic restrictions – we welcome anyone to use our services!
Our mission is to provide high-quality, high-volume, affordable spay/neuter services as a humane, sustainable solution to the overpopulation of homeless cats and dogs in our region. In alliance with our mission, we are dedicated to promoting spay/neuter and educating the community on its benefits for your pet.
Sadly, an estimated 3 million adoptable cats and dogs are euthanized in the United States every year simply because there aren’t enough homes to go around. Therefore, the only way to control the pet overpopulation crisis and needless deaths of healthy, adoptable animals is by decreasing birth rates.
Since opening in February 2018, we have sterilized over 23,000 animals and counting! Spay/neuter is not only highly effective when trying to manage population, but it’s also one of the best things you can do for your pet to keep them happy and healthy.
The ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance program developed this model and mentors organizations like ours through the process to ensure we meet the high standards of top quality care at an affordable cost. We are proud to be the only accredited Humane Alliance clinic in the Charleston area and only the second one in West Virginia. Our skilled team treats your pet like we would treat our own – with love, care, and respect.
